The Kiwanis Club of Historic Roswell conducted the annual litter index of Roswell street and roads on behalf of  Keep Roswell Beautiful (KRB) on July 12, 2008.    For 2007, Roswell scored 1.35 on a scale of 1 (being cleanest) to 4 (being highly littered).

The index was done by multiple teams of Kiwanians who covered Roswell to survey the degree to which our streets might be littered.

The city was broken into areas with each team given an section to score.  Last year, one team was able to cover 38 miles in 50 minutes.

In addition to Historic Roswell Kiwanis, Litter Index volunteers included members of the Keep Roswell Beautiful Board members.
