Crabapple Middle School’s Builders Club Collects Pennies for Patients


















Members of Crabapple Middle School’s 6th grade Builders Club raised $3,039.08 during a recent Pennies for Patients campaign to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The twenty member Builders Club set a goal of $800 and collected money during homeroom time from Crabapple Middle School’s 6th, 7th, 8th graders.  Crabapple Middle School’s Builders Club is a newly formed school organization sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Historic Roswell.  Its faculty advisors are counselor Hina Patel and CMS’s Graduation Coach, Mimi Gamel.  

The Leukemia and Lymphoma  Society is a national voluntary health agency dedicated to curing blood cancers and improving the quality of life of patients and their families.

The check was presented to Bridgette Molony from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by Reeve King, the brother of the honored hero the school focused on.
