Historic Roswell Kiwanis adds Pet Therapy to weekly bingo at Roswell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Historic Roswell Kiwanis has been conducting weekly bingo at the Roswell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for over 27 years.  Begun in 1980, this is the longest running project of any civic or service club in Roswell.

Recently, Historic Roswell Kiwanis added a visit by a pet brings a special highlight to residents.

Pet therapy has long been recognized as beneficial for many individuals. Among seniors, pet therapy diminishes emotional pain, diminishes physical pain, reduces boredom, reduces anxiety, and makes people happy.
