Roswell Teachers of the Year
Featured Speaker:  Robert E. Burke, Ed. D.
Associate Superintendent  for Curriculum and Instruction
Fulton County School System

Historic Roswell Kiwanis is pleased to honor Teachers of the Year from Roswell-area public schools. Our special speaker was Robert E. Burke, Ed. D., Associate Superintendent  for Curriculum and Instruction, Fulton County School System.  Fulton County Public Schools Elementary Teacher of the Year Karen O. Jones also brought remarks to KCHR.

One of the most important assets that any community has is great schools.  Fulton schools are exceptional and are made so by outstanding, committed staff.

Each year, every public school in Fulton County selects the best of the best -- a building level Teacher of the year.  This is a outstanding honor and reflects highly on those selected.  These Teachers of the Year are nominated by their peers and selected by former award winners and administrators.

Congratulations to these wonderful, dedicated educators -- Historic Roswell Kiwanis is proud to honor you...

In our thoughts:   Bill Dreger brought an update on Kiwanian Joe Drewry.  Joe is currently being cared for by his daughter in Newnan.  He is in good spirits but is in an extremely weakened condition.  Medical treatment has caused him to lose a great deal of weight, but he is currently receiving the benefits of a feeding tube. To drop Joe a card or letter, just send it to his current address and it will be forwarded on to Newnan:
